QuiltPass uses your device location only at the moment you tap “Check in,” to confirm you are at the shop. We store the shop you checked into, the distance, and the time. Photos you submit are stored to show the shop and may appear on QuiltMap.
Some shops post a QuiltPass QR code. Scanning it with your phone's camera opens a check-in page; we still confirm your location the same way. We don't store the scanned image, and the camera is used only to read the code.
We never sell your data. Location is not tracked in the background.
